Welcome to the Honors Program

The Mt. SAC Honors Program began in 1994 in order to meet the needs of motivated students with a strong academic record. Our program offers honors sections of transferable general education courses. These courses provide an enriched curriculum, seminar-type classes, close interaction with honors program faculty, and special projects and activities. Honors courses strengthen students’ college transcripts and increase their chances for transfer to four-year institutions.

ANNOUNCEMENTS   Complete this SURVEY if you are TRANSFERRING or leaving Mt. SAC by fall 2008. Honors Orientation is REQUIRED for new Honors students before they attend Honors classes)  If you miss Honors Orientation you will be not be allowed to enroll in Honors classes. Please contact the Honors Office for dates.   HONORS CENTER HOURS   Monday - Thursday: 10 to 4 (Honors hours may vary)   When we are closed, you may email the Honors staff.
